Meet Lisa

I am currently on a new adventure turning thoughts into written words in hopes that others may benefit from them. A newly-retired educator, I am adjusting to life after 27 years of teaching Spanish to high schoolers in Sevier County, Tennessee. My love for working with students and the Spanish language has opened wonderful doors of travel, service, and new experiences over the years. My pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago (Ruta Frances) also taught me the importance of taking TIME to seek the presence of God in my life, and inspired me to develop a hiker's prayer journal to encourage others to do the same.

I continue this life's adventure seeking new opportunities for fun and quality time with my wonderful family and friends and to deepen my relationship as a follower of Jesus Christ. We are all on a pilgrimage, and so I wish you, pilgrim, BUEN CAMINO!
